First ever Hyde Park Garden Tour announced for December – thatssotampa. com


Hyde Park Preservation Inc. (HPPI) is proud to announce its first ever historical homes garden tour, The Gardens & Grounds of Old Hyde Recreation area which will take place on Saturday, December 3  10am and will go through 1pm. Several distinctive and beautiful gardens in the iconic Hyde Park neighborhood will be available to explore, with sips, snacks, music, gardening demonstrations, and other surprises along the way. Proceeds from the event will benefit the preservation and beautification efforts of Hyde Park Upkeep, Inc. Tickets are available for $30 in advance or with regard to $35 at the event.

“We are thrilled that HPPI’s inaugural Garden Tour is taking place this Dec! Beyond being a fun community occasion, the proceeds will allow HPPI to continue to invest in neighborhood improvements such as oak trees in right of ways and plantings in common areas, ” says Marylou Bailey, Hyde Park Preservation President and one of the Backyard Tour host homeowners.

The Landscapes & Grounds Tour will be partnering with  Posies Flower Truck,   Cru Cellars,   Buddy Brew,   Game Day Salsa,   Tampa Bees,   Winn Dixie,   and  the  Gasparilla Music Foundation  regarding gardening how-tos, refreshments, plus live entertainment at the homes and along the trip route.

A rare chance to experience the gardens associated with Hyde Recreation area

The Gardens & Grounds of Old Hyde Park Trip continues a long series associated with successful home and kitchen tours that have invited the community into one of Tampa’s most charming plus historic neighborhoods over the years. Tour-goers can stroll  the tree covered streets past gorgeous homes, just off of Bayshore Boulevard and experience some of the particular community’s the majority of scenic plus luxurious gardens.  

The particular planning committee, led by co-chairs Sarah Jaycocks and Sarah Tombaugh, are hard at work attending to all the details, including partnering with Posey Flower Truck along with other gardening specialists plus local restaurants, as well as the Gasparilla Music Foundation, for horticulture how-tos, refreshments, and live entertainment in the houses and across the tour route.

Pick up tickets from the corner of Willow and Morrison Avenues. Visit route begins at 1012 South Dakota. Free parking is obtainable in the Hyde Park Village Garages
